Fed: CSIRO research shows trees make smog worse
Trees may be the lungs of the city, but new research shows native species add to the
smog problem in major Australian centres.
CSIRO researchers have discovered Australian trees and plants emit chemical compounds
which react with other pollutants, to make smog problem worse.
