NSW: Police officer to face drugs charge in Sydney court

SYDNEY, Aug 19 AAP - A Sydney police officer is due to face court today charged with
conspiring to supply heroin.

The 30-year-old man was expected to appear in Burwood Local Court after being arrested and
refused bail by internal affairs detectives at Flemington in the western suburbs, a police
spokesman said.

He had been charged with conspiring to supply a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug,
namely heroin, and offering to supply a prohibited drug.
