FED: Drink driving article is satire, says student president

CANBERRA, Feb 26 AAP - A student magazine article on avoiding being caught for drink
driving was a satirical piece designed to reinforce the seriousness of the issue, Australian
National University Students Association president Helen Stitt said today.

She said she was surprised by the reaction to the Woroni magazine article.

"By no means did we think that this would attract the attention that it did," Ms Stitt told
the Nine Network.

"It's an article that does not condone nor encourage drink driving.
